So Long, Bannatyne is the eighth studio album by The Guess Who and the second to feature Kurt Winter on lead guitar. After proving they could successfully navigate a major lineup change with 1970’s Share the Land, the band followed up in 1971 with So Long, Bannatyne, which includes standout tracks such as “Rain Dance,” Kurt Winter’s autobiographical title song, and the poignant “Sour Suite.”
